Key Features
Club-Standard Inspired Layout
The XDJ-AZ inherits the layout and operational feel of Pioneer DJ’s CDJ-3000 multi player and DJM-A9 mixer, providing a familiar workflow for DJs accustomed to professional club equipment.
Built-In Wi-Fi®
Integrated Wi-Fi lets you access cloud-based music libraries and current performance information without relying exclusively on physical media or wired connections.
With rekordbox Link Export, you can also access tracks stored on compatible PC/Mac or mobile devices over Wi-Fi.
StreamingDirectPlay with Beatport Streaming
The StreamingDirectPlay feature enables direct playback from Beatport’s extensive dance music catalog and genre-specific playlists.
Compatible analysis information such as waveform, BPM, and beat grid data helps you mix newly accessed tracks into your sets.
Extensive Media & Device Support
The XDJ-AZ provides multiple ways to perform, including:
- USB drives
- PC/Mac computers
- Mobile devices
- Turntables
- Samplers
- External audio devices
This flexibility makes it suitable for DJs with different performance styles and music sources.
rekordbox & Serato DJ Pro Compatibility
Connect a PC or Mac through the USB Type-C port and use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in Performance mode or Serato DJ Pro without requiring a paid subscription plan, according to the supplied product information.
SonicLink Wireless Monitoring
The integrated SonicLink transmitter enables ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with compatible HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones.
A single-button pairing process allows DJs to move around the booth or stage without being restricted by a headphone cable.
SonicLink is AlphaTheta’s proprietary wireless technology and is designed to transmit audio significantly faster than conventional Bluetooth SBC transmission, helping minimize audible monitoring delay.
Large Performance Pads
Large performance pads provide hands-on control for dynamic DJ techniques and responsive performance.
Three USB Inputs
Three USB connections support flexible performance setups:
- Two top-loading USB Type-A inputs for USB devices
- One USB Type-C connection for a laptop
The multiple USB inputs also support smooth back-to-back performances and DJ handovers.
Gate Cue Mode
The XDJ-AZ supports Gate Cue mode, allowing Hot Cues to play only while the corresponding performance pads are pressed.
